Heads Up is a macOS menu bar utility that counts down to your next calendar event. It operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Heads Up requests access to your macOS Calendar via Apple's EventKit framework. This access is used solely to read your upcoming events and display a live countdown in the menu bar. Calendar data is processed locally on your device and is never sent to any server, third party, or external service.
If you choose to set a custom alert sound, the selected audio file is copied to:
~/Library/Application Support/HeadsUp/
This file remains on your device and is never transmitted externally. You can delete it at any time by removing it from that folder.
No other data is written to disk by Heads Up.
Heads Up does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Heads Up does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. No data is shared with any third party.
Heads Up makes no network requests. It has no internet connectivity of any kind.
Heads Up does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. As no data is collected at all, this app complies fully with COPPA and similar regulations.
